Piñata Pollination is a pop-up artmaking series centering queerness and migration, grief and relief, death and rebirth that engages the outdoors as a community art studio. In this three-part artmaking series we will use seed-papermaking, piñata-making, and storytelling to connect our collective histories to the natural environment – both vulnerable and resilient. Join us in metamorphosis by spawning, transforming, and pollinating with a huge seed-paper-monarch-caterpillar-piñata at McKinley Park Community Garden.
