Lincoln Park – Art City presents ‘Sensations’ by Olivia Durham

‘Sensations’ is a body of work by Olivia Durham, who is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Durham’s artistic process involves collecting images from digital and printed archives as a steppingstone catalyst into existentialist renderings in paint. The resulting renderings yield vivid themes of isolation, discomfort, distortion, and energy.

Art City located at 1400 N. Halsted Street in Chicago from April 19 – May 19, 2024. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 19, 5-8 pm. Free and open to the public.
