Join the Chicago Public Library this Sunday, November 12th, at the Richard J. Daley Branch for the opening of The Sock Drive.

Please bring a pair of new socks to donate and take part in a growing community art project.

The opening on November 12th launches the Bridgeport Library’s month-long programming that creates a safe place for families to make art and read.

The Sock Drive is organized by Head Librarian and Bridgeport’s Branch Manager, Jeremy Kitchen, with concept and art direction by Jess Bass.

The collected socks will be donated to local shelters and migrant communities in Bridgeport where the Richard J. Daley Library is located.
