Sun-ho Lee:
Lee is a Korean textile artist based in Chicago who redefines her identity through personal branding. Lee collages and combines food packaging with historical objects and techniques such as Wedgewood pottery, Depression-Era quilting, and crochet. Through hand-made production of fiber works, she forcibly places herself within capitalism and its social hierarchies in order to subvert them. She is fascinated by how people’s lives are mass-produced, the contradictions of this repetitive lifestyle, and the unpredictability of
her own future.
Laura Tungga:
Tungga is an Indonesian animator born in Surabaya. Her works are based on her home country; a medley of her childhood personal narratives and poetry in visual forms. She turns a sense of immaturity and innocence into beautiful pieces of motion pictures. Her goal is to revolutionize Indonesian cinema and animation, bringing it to the world platform.
