Doors will open at 5pm for Golden Hour, and attendees are encouraged to check out the exhibition beforehand at 5:30pm, before heading into the Sanctuary at 6 for the talk.
The photographs in Portraits: An Intimate View are pulled directly from her work displayed on The Artists’ Feature, a blog Porter-Woodruff started in 2019 that featured photographs and interviews with artists. Her goal with The Artists’ Feature was to create for the artists a cohesive profile that would not only show them at their happiest, but also at their most vulnerable point – to show them creating. In this talk she will discuss her process in-depth, as well as showcase never before seen works from the project.
