New Futures “Back in the Arena”

Pugs, Dabin, Abena and Zor Zor met in April of 2022 as “New Futures” recipients at the Chicago edition of The Other Art Fair. They were inspired and intrigued by each other’s strong unique style of expression.

Abena creates nature inspired paintings and naturally dyed fibers.

Dabin’s paintings and sculptures assert his fascination in recontextualizing particular objects.

Zor Zor weaves shapes and lines to create mesmerizing characters.

Pugs’ is a true hip-hop renaissance man who uses his work to push for change in his city.
