The 826CHI Publications Festival is an event celebrating the culminating student publication projects of each of our 826CHI year programs. Staff and Teaching Artists work with students in schools, classrooms, and our after-school programs throughout the year to write original creative work to be included in publications. The Publications Festival celebrates over 1000 student voices from Chicago Public Schools and various Chicago neighborhoods. This family friendly event brings an array of festival elements such as games, music, and other age-inclusive fun experiences to bring a culture of celebration and inclusivity to the festival.
