Public Works and Someoddpilot are excited to expand upon our 22 year history in Chicago art, design and music communities with a preview of our new, in-progress, Wicker Park gallery space.

On Friday, April 1st, 2022, 7-10pm, we open with our inaugural event “Ultraviolet Mythology,” the new visual artwork of indie electronic artist Travis Egedy, aka Pictureplane: 14 large paintings, 8 prints, apparel, and new video work.

Following the exhibition opening, that same night, Egedy will DJ a dance/electronic set and afterparty under his musical moniker Pictureplane at the Empty Bottle in Ukrainian Village from 10pm-1am. Additional DJs TBA.

A threading of goth: indie dark wave music, painting, video and apparel. What could be more fun?
