Luke Pelletier: Lonely Bones
@ Peanut Gallery
1000 N. California Ave., Chicago, IL 60622
Opening Sunday, October 14th, from 6PM - 10PM
On view through Saturday, November 17th
Lonely Bones will be Luke Pelletier’s first solo exhibition in Chicago, consisting of paintings, prints, videos and sculptures.
Pelletier’s work races through fragments of narratives, personal anecdotes, and generalizations about the world around him as he plays off the old saying, “I’ll rest when I’m dead,” and attempts to create his own paradise. At the opening reception, he will release a ‘zine/sticker-pack and a solo album. The album will be available for free download. If you’re interested in hearing a few of the songs off the album before it comes out, you can download the E.P. at summerbreak.bandcamp.com
Pelletier is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
