Come visit the Andersonville Galleria and see a collection of abstract paintings by XX.
Chicago-based artist, XX, is inspired by the natural ability to use art as a way to heal and express the love, courage, and peace to be yourself. XX has been creating since 2018 using mediums such as acrylic paint, pastels, spray paint, and various other tools and mediums. XX began finding comfort in artistic expression when exploring different tools that would convey a deeper understanding of self. XX uses art to reach a deeper level of understanding and expression of emotional longing, pain, and introspection in relation to our cultural milieu. XX begins each artistic endeavor with a feeling in mind and pairs this thought/feeling with a like-minded color pattern.
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served.
