Opening Saturday, May 15th, from 11 AM - 5 PM
On view through Sunday, May 16th
Markets for Makers Chicago is back this weekend, May 15-16, for a socially-distanced, mask-wearing, and unique shopping experience!
Markets for Makers features a diverse collection of 60+ handmade artisans as well as small boutiques, vintage retailers.
Masked attendees can enjoy this eclectic shopping experience, DIY Maker activities, fun photo walls (hello, Instagram!), and a curated selection of local food trucks and cocktails.
After a year of no in-person fairs, Markets for Makers Chicago once again gives crafters and makers an avenue to sell their unique wares. These fairs are the bread and butter for many small artisan shops — something which the pandemic destroyed. This Chicago event, held since 2015, has created lasting impact on local artisan economies as well as brings communities together.
Just as local restaurants needed support during the pandemic, local artisans are looking to revive their business back up after a year of zero in-person events. This event supports talented and curated local and international artists.
