Description

Origami is the Japanese traditional art of folding paper. We can enjoy making something by a square piece of paper, through origami. We will make a different origami design at each workshop.

Materials Needed

1 square piece of paper will be needed. You can copy origami paper from here.

About the Instructor

Asami Iba is the Cultural Exchange Facilitator for the Grassroots Exchange Network-Japan (GEN-J) Program, through the Japan Foundation. Ms. Iba has been facilitating presentations about origami and introducing Japanese culture to schools and events in Midwestern states for 1 and a half years.
