The individual is in a continuous flux. The fluid, dynamic state of being that is shaped by variable experiences is surrounded by culture and aesthetics. This is presented in a visible, observable release and transference known as “dance.” The Bridge…is the individual.
Bridge Dance Festival Curator Fujima Yoshinojo (Rika Lin) returns to Links Hall with a spectrum of dancers who encompass a connection to their Asian heritage. The Bridge Dance Festival 2020 brings together four dancemakers and presents their reactionary state of being.

The artists of the 2020 Bridge Dance Festival include: Mari Fujihira, Irene Hsiao, Ayako Kato, and Mandarakoyomi Thinking–Masayuki Sumi (dancer) and Shunichiro Hisada (musician)
