Join Chicago-based artist and craftivist Shannon Downey of Badass Cross Stitch for a virtual Embroidery 101 workshop while connecting with other aspiring craftivists. No prior experience is necessary. Please use materials that you already have at home.
Materials: embroidery hoop, sturdy fabric, or heavy paper; light-colored cotton fabric, or any fabric will do; 24 gauge tapestry needle, embroidery needle, or sewing needle; embroidery floss, thread, or thin yarn; water soluble marking pen, charcoal pencil, ballpoint pen, colored pencil, or Sharpie; scissors
This online event is free and open to people ages 10+ and all skill levels. Advance registration is required and attendance is limited.
