About ART + ACTIVISM:
Examining the current socio-political climate, there is unrest and frustration that is driving an undercurrent for change; a need for more from our leadership, as well as from one another. Our community is continually evolving as more of us grow aware of our individual positions within society and attempt to express our truths. Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble has curated a series of performances; ART + ACTIVISM. That re-examines the socio-political landscape in Chicago and how art can better benefit the needs of the greater Chicago community.
