An evening focusing on the string music of Chicago native Ted Hearne, composer, singer, bandleader and 2018 Pulitzer Prize finalist. Featuring musicians Nick Photinos, Grammy Award winning cellist for Eighth Blackbird, Yvonne Lam, Grammy Award winning violinist and Professor of Violin at Michigan State University, Paula Kosower, Cellist for Fulcrum Point New Music and Professor at North Park University, and John Corkill, Aux In series Curator and Percussionist for the University of Chicago’s Grossman Ensemble.
Ted Hearne will do a Q&A about his music after the performances.
