Chicago Public Library and Society of Midland Authors continue their collaboration, presenting a panel of distinguished writers to discuss the wide-ranging aspects of writing memoirs. Established and aspiring writers will find this conversation enlightening and informative.
Panelists include:
Margaret McMullan, author of “Where the Angels Lived: One Family’s Story of Exile, Loss and Return”
Richard Lindberg, author of “Whiskey Breakfast: My Swedish Family, My American Life”
Donna Solecka Urbikas, author of “My Sister’s Mother: A Memoir of War, Exile and Stalin’s Siberia”
David W. Berner, moderator and author of “The Consequence of Stars: A Memoir of Home”
Doors to the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium open at 5:00 p.m. Seating is first come, first served. Books are available for purchase, and the authors will autograph books at the conclusion of the program.
