Stacza Lipinski and Paul Nudd: Gush

@ Mana Contemporary

2233 S Throop St, #419, Chicago, IL 60608

Opening Sunday, December 15th, from 12PM - 4PM

On view through Saturday, January 25th

Tiger Strikes Asteroid is pleased to present Gush, a two-person exhibition featuring work by Stacza Lipinski and Paul Nudd, curated by Debra Kayes, with graphic design by Jared Sawdey. Stacza Lipinski and Paul Nudd both approach art by exploring and contrasting the concepts of “ugly” and “pretty.” The title for the show, Gush, speaks toward that dichotomy as a zit might gush puss or one might gush over a painting or love interest. For this show, Lipinski and Nudd have created a variety of collaborative pieces, including installations, videos, and sculptures.
