James Meyer, curator in the Department of Modern Art at the National Gallery, presents this year’s Carol Given Winston Lecture, focusing on material from his new book, The Art of Return. James Meyer is curator in the Department of Modern Art at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. He was previously the Winship Distinguished Research Associate Professor of Art History at Emory University and deputy director and chief curator of Dia Art Foundation.
