Ginger Krebs’ small-scale sculptures spoof real world organic forms using discarded materials put through a rigorous process of reinvention. She is interested in the nature of waste and how inorganic matter and minute fragments of our synthetic things have made their way into every nook and cranny of life on earth. With these sculptures, she imagines future life forms which may see our detritus as their own bodies.
