Artist Residency Info Session: Writing an Artist Statement

Artists, especially photographers, often struggle when writing about their own work. At LATITUDE’s Artist Statement Conversation, Colleen Keihm will be reviewing and offering insight into the artist statement in the hope of demystifying the difficulty and/or fear that comes with writing. Led through group discussion participants can read through successful statements and work towards finding an appropriate voice that matches their artistic style.

Visitors to the conversation are encouraged to bring a piece of their own writing for peer review!
