Writing on Water is based on a South Asian tradition where offerings are floated into rivers and seas. It highlights the urgent need to address the sustainability of this precious resource and the myriad forms of lives it supports including our own.
Create, Write and Float
Create an offering and write your wishes with provided natural materials. Set it afloat and watch it meander down the Chicago River North Branch, towards Lake Michigan, Chicago Loop, and Chicago River South Branch.
Experience is free and all are welcome.
