“Sana, sana colita de rana. si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana”
Heal, heal butt of a frog. If you don’t heal today, you’ll heal tomorrow.” – Spanish turn of phrase or “spell” used by caregivers when children are injured/hurt to wish them well, or quell their fears.

In Latin, sana speaks of “dreaming.” In Arabic, it is the light that shines—brilliance and radiance, an act of gleaming or sparkling. And in Italian, sana brings to mind a state of health and wholeness. SanaS, a palindrome, embodies a journey toward and away from the self—a voyage of healing through art, echoing back to both artist and viewer, rooted in empathy. Through this shared process, SanaS becomes a pathway of shedding, self-reflection and recognition.

At its heart, SanaS proposes art in essence to be a mirror. It is an invitation to a dual space, a place where transformation reflects inward and outward. It is not only an experience for creators but also for those who witness the expression of the contemplative journey. Art, at any point of the transaction, is an invitation to channel the human experience.
