Queer Survivor Art Walkthrough

As our Fall 2024 Cohort made up of 9 queer survivors comes to a close, our participants will share their final group art installation at Awakenings on Tuesday, October 22nd. Doors will open at 6 pm and guests can view the art and mingle with cohort members, survivors, allies, and other creatives. We will have art supplies laid out on tables to encourage guests to create their own artwork that they can take home or hang on our community art wall. There will be two times the cohort will share about their artmaking process and experience in the cohort at 6:30pm & 7:30pm.
Free with RSVP, Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided
Awakenings mission is to provide survivors of sexual violence with trauma-informed, inclusive art-making experiences that encourage healing. We welcome survivors, loved ones and allies to all our events.

There are two steps to enter the building. Dial 012 on the call box and we will buzz you in! Go up the stairs or front elevator to the 2nd floor, we are the last door on the right.
If you utilize a wheelchair, please email or call Awakenings ahead of your arrival and a staff member can direct you up to the studio in our freight elevator.
