At this month’s CLEAT Series we welcome Indiana-based composer Landon Caldwell and Chicagoan multidisciplinary artist Dani Jean-Baptiste. Caldwell is a composer and multi-disciplinary artist in Indianapolis whose work examines environment, family, & class through the language of intuition and other hidden layers of reality. Through sound, words, and other materials, his work creates environments that redirect attention to the present and open new realities through the minutiae of the everyday. Jean-Baptiste says “A nest of debris and hoarded things from which to draw energy, presented in their most transcendent form: A club mix. Physical performance in intimate duet with MSP in an attempt to represent the fullness of the CLEAT acronym.” This will be a special night! Join us at 8pm.
