Join us at The GREYSTONE Collective for Indelible ORIGINS | Place + People, The BLACK Domestic Living Roomscape Talk | Performance – Meal Time. We invite you to “Break Bread” with us in our Dining Roomscape at Meal Time, an interactive dining performance installation with Pryor. The BLACK Domestic Dining Room is a place family gather to nourish mind, body, and spirit. Pryor invites guests to experience her signature tablecloth object muse, with the spreading of our tablecloths – we are inviting a seat at the table of rest, safety, nutrition, and togetherness. The Dining Roomscape celebrates the Meal Time – “Breaking Bread” ritual. As in traditional Dinner gatherings in the African American HOME, conversations will evolve around body, mind, and spirit wellness.

Indelible ORIGINS | Place + People 2024 four-part public engagement series is supported by Hyde Park Art Center’s Artists Run Chicago Fund in partnership with Art Design Chicago, a citywide collaboration initiated by the Terra Foundation for American Art that highlights the city’s artistic heritage and creative communities.
