Please join us for an artist talk with local creator Antonia Ruppert. Ms. Ruppert will discuss her work and lead a tour of her current exhibit Genesis of An Artist: My Story, which is displayed in the Arts & Music Department on the eighth floor of the Harold Washington Library Center. The exhibit features 30 individual art pieces with accompanying musical works which can be accessed by QR code.

Chicago native Antonia Ruppert is a painter, musician and educator who has displayed her works around the Chicagoland area for over 30 years. A former Artist in Residence for both the Addison Public Library and Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, Ms. Ruppert is also the recipient of the Peggy A. Montes Unsung Heroine Award. Her works explore themes of connection, community, storytelling and motherhood.
