Multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Jessica Mathis will screen her film “Triggered,” an award-winning collection of animated shorts based on a series of conversations with women about their post-traumatic stress disorder, followed by a post-screening discussion. Rising star Mandee McKelvey is one of the Midwest’s most acclaimed stand-up comedians. Mandee will give a performance from her vulnerable, candid, and hilarious show on women’s body autonomy. You can find her at Onemandee.com.
This program is proudly presented by the Diversability Committee and the Women’s History Committee of the Chicago Public Library, as well as Mental Filmness, a Chicago-based film festival about mental health.
