Latitude is honored to feature the images of Shigeko Kumomoto and the works of Ken Carl. The exhibition features images from Shigeko’s photographic diary, a Japanese American 14 year old girl, who was interned by the United States government in 1943.Despite the difficulties presented to her and her family, the works in the exhibition speak to the unknowability of this collective experience and the power of this young girl to find sweetness and resilience.
