Art Making for Environmental Justice

Join us for an afternoon of ARTivism!
In collaboration with @uiclcc and @sustainableuic, we invite you to Art Making for Environmental Justice!!
Come print a tote bag and make a button in honor of Earth Month! Printmaking will be led by @marimachamonarcapress — a Queer/Trans familia artist collective made of artists and educators based on Chicago’s Southside.
Button making supplies will be available to create your own low-waste Earth Month inspired button.
This event will be held at the Chicago Justice Gallery which houses the “Climates of Inequality” Exhibition that closes May 25th! So if you haven’t seen it, make sure to stop by for a tote bag and a final look before the exhibit closes!
First 100 people will receive a free tote bag!
*Supplies will be provided!
