Awakenings presents an in-person workshop lead by returning Teaching Artist Leah Huskey. Participants will engage in how to use caring language in support ourselves and the survivors in our lives. This workshop will take participants step by step in creating their own messages of care using lino-cut relief printmaking. No experience required.
Free with RSVP, Supplies, Light snacks & drinks provided. Open to survivors and those impacted by sexual violence.

Leah is a multi-disciplinary artist with a background in performing arts. She has served on Awakenings’ Art Committee and Volunteer Committee and has twice been a resident in Awakenings’ artist cohort program. She is excited to lead her first visual art workshop as a Teaching Artist at Awakenings!
