Drop by the Smart Museum of Art and create wild tiger drawings using bamboo calligraphy brushes and black and orange ink!

During this Meiji Modern family day, we’ll teach you the amazing art of “wet on wet” brush painting and make drawings of tigers stalking through a steamy jungle or foggy forest. Plus, join in a tiger-riffic storytime: The Tiger Who Would Be King by James Thurber, illustrated by JooHee Yoon.

FREE, drop-in. Art-making supplies and other materials are provided. Family programs are best for kids 4–12, but all ages are welcomed! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Family programs are supported by the Harper Court Arts Council.
