On Sunday, October 1st at 1pm, in collaboration with Chicago Exhibition Weekend and ENGAGE Projects, Zolla/Lieberman Gallery will present the latest edition of our Words of Art series featuring artists, Maria Tomasula & Chris Cosnowski.
Join ZLG Director, Brian Gillham, and our guests as we discuss a variety of topics including the inspiration and process for their current exhibitions, insight into their technical mastery, symbolism and allegory in painting, and much more.
Light refreshments will be served.
Maria Tomasula is an artist an educator living and working in South Bend, IN where she has served as a Professor of Art at Notre Dame University since 1994. She received her BFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her MFA from Northwestern University.
Chris Cosnowski is an artist and educator living and working in Chicago, IL. He has taught at the American Academy of Art College since 2003. He received his BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1992 and his MFA from Northwestern University in 2000.
