Stitched Time
@ Oliva Gallery
3816 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647
Opening Friday, October 13th, from 5 PM - 9 PM
On view through Saturday, November 4th
Join us at Oliva Gallery for “Stitched Time,” an exhibition that showcases the works of five talented artists curated by Tamara Wasserman and Oliva Gallery. The exhibition features the works of Helen Mayer Jones, Gina Lee Robbins, Darin Latimer, Makeba Kedem-DuBose, and Tamara Wasserman herself.
“Stitched Time” explores the idea of extreme kinships that exist between artists who are separated by both time and space. The artists have found cultural phenomena from different corners of the world that feel like home to them, and through their artworks, they demonstrate their ability to “stitch time” and create connections between the past and present, as well as between different cultures and communities.
The show invites viewers to reflect on the power of art to transcend boundaries and connect us to each other and our shared human experiences. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in a thought-provoking and inspiring art exhibition.
The exhibition will be held at Oliva Gallery, located at 3816 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647. For more information, please visit our website at www.olivagallery.com or call us at 847-922-5736. We look forward to seeing you there!
