This coming Saturday, October 21, the Zhou B Art Center is having a special celebration of the Zhou Brothers’ 50th anniversary of their collaborative art-making. The entire building will be open to the public, with food, music, open studios, and other treats. My new book, Selves Portrait: Self-Portraits, will be available for purchase, and many of the pictures in the book will be on display in my spacious fourth-floor studio! And of course I will be there to sign books. For those of you who won’t be able to attend, this limited edition is still available for purchase. You can place orders now. Price is $30 plus $5.00 shipping. However, if you order more than one copy, shipping is free. Payment can be made by Zelle, PayPal, personal check, or cash.
The Art Center is at 1029 W. 35th St. in Chicago, and this free event will be from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There is free parking in the lot directly to the east of the building.
Note: The Art Center’s traditional third Friday open house will not be happening this month.
