“Chaos In A Warm Village” reflects and illustrates the diversity and complexity of the African American community. Jesse Howard depicts a story about the hopes and dreams of disenfranchised people. His drawings show the contradiction between the portrayal of African Americans through mainstream media and the reality of their everyday lives.
