Join Intuit for Art After Work, a free series of facilitated art-making workshops. This month, Intuit is partnering with Chicago-based artist Dionne Victoria to host a special Art After Work at Dionne Victoria Studios, INC., an exhibition and educational arts space. Dionne will facilitate a workshop inspired by her artistic practice. In the in-person workshop, participants will use mixed-media to create collaborative self-portraits.
Workshop Description
Self Portrait: Sacral Chakra
How we view ourselves is the most important view we have and can make or break us. When we have a negative self view we are constantly looking down on ourselves. We are not in tune with what makes us great. On the other side if we have an over inflated view of ourselves we can block necessary growth in our lives. This activity helps you take a look at yourself by creating a self portrait while receiving the input of those who around you.
