This experimental performance is the outcome of a workshop series led by Emily Hooper Lansana and Lauren Dotson. Each artist created a story that explores questions regarding, identity, learning, safety, joy and freedom. The process was developed in response to the new mission and vision of the Center for the Study of Race Politics and Culture at the University of Chicago. It presents the work of local artists, students, staff and faculty. Featured artists: Rae Chardonnay, Shani Crowe, Lauren Dotson, Emily Hooper Lansana, Hope Houston, Josh Nkhata, Fern Ramoutar, and S Simmons.
