A.Martinez and Tulika Ladsariya present: “In Reciprocity: Reclaiming Narratives of Care”
What does intergenerational care look like? At In Reciprocity: Reclaiming Narratives of Care, a salon-style gathering led by mother artists, A.Martinez and Tulika Ladsariya, they approach this question and others, within the context of Shantrelle P. Lewis’ documentary In Our Mothers’ Gardens and Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie’s TED talk, “The Danger of a Single Story.” Join us for an intimate gathering of breaking bread in solidarity, sharing wisdoms and exploring what it means to shift the narrative within ourselves.

¿Qué es el cuidado intergeneracional? En el conversatorio In Reciprocity: Reclaiming Narratives of Care ( Con Reciprocidad: Reclamando Narrativas sobre el Cuidado) dirigido por las artistas y madres A.Martinez y Tulika Ladsariya abordamos esta pregunta y otras, dentro del contexto del documental In Our Mothers’ Gardens (En los jardines de nuestras madres) de Shantrelle P. In-Session Programming will be in hybrid format (presented in-person and on Zoom). There is limited capacity and we will utilize a waitlist to manage interest that exceeds our attendee count. Salons will recorded for archival purposes and photographed for documentation. Spanish interpretation and childcare will also be offered.
