Opening Sunday, February 5th, from 1PM - 3:30PM
In this workshop, participants will be invited to write short stories and poems through prompts in response to survivor artwork on display in Awakenings’ gallery. Participants will have the option to share what they write during the workshop in an encouraging environment.
Awakenings will provide writing materials for the in-person workshop. Participants are also welcome to bring in their own writing materials including tablets, phones, etc.
Folks of any writing experience (or entirely beginner!) are welcome.

Awakenings provides survivors of sexual violence with a trauma-informed, inclusive, art making experience that encourages healing. All Awakenings workshops are free and open to survivors and anyone who has been affected by sexual violence.
