DIFFERENT NAMES (for the same thing) is the first exhibition of 2023 at The Martin! Curated by The Martin’s Founder & Curator Whitney LaMora, the works featured in this exhibition are all united by a theme of change: either during the course of the exhibition, throughout a single day or as you interact with them – resulting in an exciting and interactive collection of work.
Our opening reception is on January 20th from 6-9pm and is free to attend! The exhibition will be on display until February 12th with a closing reception on February 10th.

This exhibition was designed to coordinate nicely with Split-Rail’s Chicago Restaurant Week of Divey vs Diva – make a reservation to enjoy dinner before or after you check out the show! Stay after to have a cocktail downstairs in Dorothy (21+). All spaces are ADA accessible.

ABOUT THE CURATOR
Whitney LaMora (she/her) is a queer curator, producer and immersive artist. She’s the Founder + Curator of The Martin and also the Creative Director of Split-Rail & Dorothy. When not developing exhibitions & events she obsessively reads and spends time with her partner and their nice and naughty pets. @whitneycurates
