Let It Grow: Hoofprint’s ten year anniversary show

Join us in celebrating the ten-year anniversary of Hoofprint, a printmaking studio formed in 2012 by print-partners Gabe Hoare and Liz Born. “Let It Grow” includes a selection of lithographs, woodcuts, monotypes, screenprints, and etchings—work by over 60 artists, published collaboratively in Chicago. The opening reception on Saturday, November 19th, from 6-10pm, will feature music, refreshments, and live printing, and will take place at CoProsperity in Bridgeport. The event coincides with Grabadolandia, a printmaking festival organized by Instituto Gráfico de Chicago.

More printmaking, you say?!
Grabadolandia is a three-day printmaking festival organized by Instituto Gráfico de Chicago. Exhibitions, demonstrations, and artist talks will take place on November 18th and 19th, culminating in a print fair for all ages on Sunday, November 20th at the National Museum of Mexican Art. A panel discussion featuring Nicole Marroquin and Jenny Schmid in conversation with Hoofprint will take place on Saturday afternoon from 2-3pm at NMMA (1852 W 19th Street). Admission is free and open to the public.
