Raices Gala
@ Galleria Marchetti
825 W Erie St, Chicago, IL 60642
Opening Thursday, September 15th, at 6PM
The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture is a cultural and educational institution devoted to the promotion, integration and advancement of Puerto Rican arts and culture. Exhibitions and programming created to enhance the visibility and importance of the Puerto Rican traditions are brought to Humboldt Park, the heart of Chicago’s Puerto Rican community, by NMPRAC. NMPRAC is the only self-standing cultural museum in the nation devoted to showcasing Puerto Rican arts, culture and historic exhibitions year-round. Your 2022 ticket will not only give you exclusive access and exposure at one of our largest events, the Raices Gala, but with your support, the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture can achieve our motto and be a place “where preservation meets inspiration.” Learn more about sponsorship opportunities here.
The Annual Raices Gala helps raise the necessary funds for NMPRAC to continue to thrive as a cultural anchor in the City of Chicago and become the preferred destination for all those wanting to learn about our rich history, art and culture. As the only self-standing Puerto Rican museum in the United States, our vision is to collaborate with other institutions to harness the necessary resources in order to expand out programming, exhibits and visitor experience.
Our Gala demonstrates the richness of our deeply rooted arts and culture as we enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing featuring Puerto Rican artistic expressions and live entertainment. We hope to see you there!
