Chicago Sculpture International presents By Degrees, an exhibition featuring 13 current students or recent graduates of BFA or MFA programs at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Bradley University and Vermont College of Fine Art.
This exhibition is offered in honor of the late Ron Gard, former Chicago Sculpture International Board member and mentor to a long line of sculptors who transitioned from art students to some of Chicago’s most revered contemporary emerging artists. By Degrees will be exhibited in Chicago Sculpture International’s 3D4D Gallery, in the former site of Ron Gard’s Bucktown storefront, and generously donated to Chicago Sculpture International by his family.
Exhibiting Artists: Brian Divis, Spencer Gale, Musa Ghaznavi, Sarah Goodermuth, Elisabeth Heying, Riley Lauren Lynch, Lisa Nelson Raabe, Jeremy Plotkin Wong, Olya Salimova, Andrew Sokol, Christian Stone, Katie Williams, Connor Young.
Opening Reception: Friday, July 15, 5-8 pm
