Crafting With Queens
@ WNDR Museum
1130 W Monroe St., Chicago, IL 60607
Opening Sunday, June 12th, at 11AM
WNDR Museum invites guests to spend their Sunday afternoon Crafting with Queens! JForPay and Kitty Banks will host a special art class at WNDR, giving visitors the opportunity to create and decorate their own drag masks using markers, sequins, pipe-cleaners, decorative paper and more! Proceeds will go to Vida/SIDA, a local organization dedicated to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV prevention services to minority groups with a focus on the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals. Tickets are available for $30 each and include the crafting class and admission to the museum.
WNDR Museum, Chicago’s original immersive art and technology experience, was recently vot-ed one of the top five immersive art experience in the country by USA Today’s 2021 Reader Poll. Located in the West Loop, the 10,000 square-foot museum disrupts and redefines the traditional museum experience by inviting guests to fully engage with the artworks and multi-sensory instal-lations. Tickets to WNDR Museum must be purchased in advance at www.wndrmuseum.com. Children ages two and under receive free admission.
