Opening Friday, April 29th, from 6PM - 7:30PM
In 2023, Threewalls will celebrate its 20th anniversary by dreaming of a racially just future through Call-and-Response: Dreaming of a Future. With community at the heart of our project, we will host Dreaming Circles, where artists and their neighbors will collectively dream of a future Chicago.
Wisdom Baty is facilitating Dreaming Circles in South Shore and the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhoods and the primary prompt is: What types of desired futures can South Side communities manifest when safe and quiet space to dream become normalized?
Sweet Dreaming is a series of slow down moments of dreaming, conversations and artist interventions on Chicago’s South Side. The series prioritizes South Side neighbors and community members.
This event is in-person and takes place at THE cre.ae.tive ROOM, which is located at 7034 S. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Masks are required.
To participate in these moments, please register at this link.
