Kevin Stuart: between all saints day and halloween
@ Roman Susan
1224 W Loyola Ave, Chicago, IL 60626
Opening Saturday, December 4th, at 5PM
On view through Sunday, January 2nd
“My mother wore pastel colours and when we leave we become diffuse, aspects of us get seen in the world around those we loved. It snowed a lot in January, and by spring I had realized the pale colours of the flowers and the world in the snowstorms were the same that my mother wore. If anything can change anything, or if there’s a chance for anyone to move beyond what currently is, it has to start I believe with a relationship.”
