Thank you for joining us last fall for “Remix: Respond, Rebuild,” the first ever virtual Lit & Luz Festival. We welcomed back past participants, along with new artists, writers, and musicians from Chicago, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and more. The Lit & Luz Festival is a one-of-a-kind series of events featuring renowned authors, visual artists, and musicians from Chicago and Mexico in cultural exchange and conversation. This series of readings, conversations, artist talks, and performances, including signature event the Live Magazine Show, highlights new translations and artistic collaborations—showcasing some of the most innovative contemporary artists from both countries. The festival takes place in Chicago in the fall, followed by events in Mexico City in winter. Click here to learn more.
