3D4D by CSI Opens SECOND LIFE, All Women Exhibition, exploring work made by women sculptors utilizing repurposed materials.
SECOND LIFE : All Women Exhibition features Laurie LeBreton, Jill King, Bobbi Meier, Deirdre Colgan Jones.
Featuring an improvisational performance by Isabel Ball at 7pm during the opening reception Friday October 8, 6-9pm.
These women artists all work primarily with discarded and found objects, giving a second life. Mining the vast waste stream they transform what is normally seen as ephemeral, temporary, valueless or disposable into works that transcend materiality, and ultimately challenge our cultural conditioning.
3D4D Conversations
Artists will share their concepts, concerns and process in a Collector’s Circle 3D4D conversation at the closing of the exhibition November 5, 5-6pm
