Special Feature is unbelievably overjoyed to present for its inaugural exhibition “A Flower Grew Out the Palm of My Hand”.
Featuring new works by Gabrielle Ledet and Rykeyn Bailey centered around emotional realities, physical isolation, daily discipline, ritual, and personal time in the wake of quarantining and pandemic aesthetics.

Gabrielle Ledet is a filmmaker, animator and painter native to New Orleans. Her films and animations have been featured in the New Orleans Film Festival, the Borscht Film Festival in Miami, and Random Acts of Flyness. She has also exhibited paintings in New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles, as well as the Barbican in London, England.
Rykeyn Bailey is currently based in Miami, Florida. His work explores oil painting techniques, abstract drawing, sculpture, ritual and poetry. He has exhibited mostly in Chicago, and currently is featured at Today/Now Space online.
